At Beaver Run K9, our off-leash dog training program is designed to transform your dog into a well-behaved, attentive, and obedient companion. We tailor each program to fit the dog’s specific needs.
The off-leash board and train obedience package is an excellent way to establish a solid foundation of trust and communication with your dog. Throughout the program, we expose your dog to real-life situations, ensuring they remain obedient even in challenging environments. Our training emphasizes reliability and consistency in responding to commands. After your dog concludes the program, you will receive personalized coaching and exercises for you to maintain their training at home.
Your dog will emerge from the program with a heightened understanding of obedience, improved responsiveness, and the confidence to enjoy off-leash freedom while remaining obedient to your commands. This specialized training will not only enhance your dog's behavior but also strengthen the bond between you and your furry companion.

puppy program
Your puppy will learn: potty training, socialization, desensitization to handling, crate training, intro to obedience (sit, stay, place) and “no biting”

After raising dozens of puppies, BRK9 is all too familiar with the hectic nature of bringing a pup into the family. Many owners have busy schedules, kids, eventful lives and dealing with all of the needs a puppy has can tend to be the last thing we want to do. At Beaver Run K9, we handle teaching key puppy behaviors that lay the groundwork for a lifetime of obedience from your growing pup. This program hones in on the concept of establishing learning as a highly engaging, fun, mutually beneficial habit; setting us up for a dog that seeks to serve us with a healthy mindset

basic on-leash obedience

Beaver Run K9’s 2 week basic on-leash obedience program is designed to make your life easier when it comes to times that your dog is on the leash. Whether you’re walking around town, through stores, at the park, on a hike, etc., it is a huge benefit to have a dog that isn’t a liability in public. On-leash obedience serves as the cornerstone of canine training, offering a myriad of benefits that directly impact the safety and well-being of both dogs and us. On-leash obedience training enables owners to manage their dogs in various environments, broadening the possibilities of where we can bring our canine counterparts. A dog that is good on-leash is easier to train, socialize, exercise and explore!

Private Training:
Program Focuses: Foundation to basic obedience, crate training, potty training, leash manners, behavior management and handling/grooming
Age: 3 - 6 months
We meet weekly for Beaver Run K9’s private puppy training to prepare your pup for life in the home. The program provides owners with the tools to establish positive, productive behavior and respond when negative behavior arises most effectively. This progression assists people with creating a solid training and behavioral foundation with their new family members. During each training session, we will practice 2-3 key behaviors, and address negative behaviors at the conclusion

Puppy Private Training
Obedience Private Training

Age: 6+ months
Advanced:
(Sit for duration, down for duration, stay out of sight, focus, public obedience, off leash heeling, obedience under distraction
In Beaver Run K9’s obedience private program, we will meet regularly. We have a basic obedience program (6 weeks) and an advanced obedience program (12 weeks). Each week, the trainer will conclude the sessions with homework. This homework is prescribed practice throughout the week to ensure that the dog is on pace to finish in time. During each training session, we will practice 2-3 key behaviors. Any questions regarding the dog’s specific behaviors will be addressed after each training session.

Behavioral Private trains

At Beaver Run K9, our Behavioral Modification Private Training Program is designed to address and modify challenging behaviors in dogs that may be causing distress for both the pet and their owner. We work one-on-one with each dog and their owner to create a tailored and effective behavior modification plan. Each session is personalized to focus on the specific needs of the dog, providing individualized attention and support.
Throughout the training process, we educate the owner on understanding their dog's behavior, providing them with the tools and techniques necessary to reinforce the training at home.
